"You know," said he, "what progress artillery science has made during the last few years, and what a degree of perfection firearms of every kind have reached. Moreover, you are well aware that, in general terms, the resisting power of cannon and the expansive force of gunpowder are practically unlimited.
Well! starting from this principle, I ask myself whether, supposing sufficient apparatus could be obtained constructed upon the conditions of ascertained resistance, it might not be possible to project a shot up to the moon?"
Jules Verne - From the Earth to the Moon
It is said to be a small model of the universe is the mankind. Maybe it really is, but we are turning our eyes out, not in. Because we learned from the master that the human horizon has an infinite developmental capacity. And we know that even if you adore this mastery, you've expanded your horizon. We admire William Blake's admiration for the geometry of the tiger, as we have been fascinated with the literary inventions of Jules Verne, we do not know how to make magic, but as we learn from Arthur C. Clarke that every sufficiently technologically advanced technology is magical, we are devoid of magic with our technology.
Just as a magician enjoys the audience's last great amazement, we are fed from the wonder of our partners we work with. We remember once again why we stand together in every business that we have achieved with our technology.
Floyd was still musing over these thoughts when his helmet speaker suddenly emitted a piercing
electronic shriek, like a hideously overloaded and distorted time signal. Involuntarily, he tried
to block his ears with his spacesuited hands; then he recovered and groped frantically for the
gain control of his receiver. While he was still fumbling four more of the shrieks blasted out of
the ether; then there was a merciful silence.
All around the crater, figures were standing in attitudes of paralyzed astonishment. So it's nothing wrong with my gear, Floyd told himself; everyone heard those piercing electronic screams.
After three million years of darkness, TMA-1 had greeted the lunar dawn.
Arthur C Clarke - 2001 A Space Odyssey
WHO WE ARE
TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
Being inspired by Jules Verne and diving 20,000 leagues deep into the sea, we have found out how to admire ingenuity of the human mind. We have learnt that the obstacle called "impossibility" can be overcome by means of redefining "possibility". We are a group of artist, software developers, engineers and technicians who gathered around this idea. Within ten years we have evolved from minds learning, getting inspired from each other into an organic mindset harbouring all those individual minds.
And for the last ten years it has been this very investigative and problem-solving mindset that enabled us to carry out projects in Turkey and worldwide. For us each project is an excitement for creating something; the reward we achieved for working enthusiastically rather than ambitiously, seeing every task to be completed as an innovation contributed to both customer satisfaction and emotional gratification on our part. We produce the kind of innovative solutions that our partners demand, enhancing them with material cognizance, design ideas and software, without neglecting our childish excitement for and curiosity about new technologies.
Trevize said, "Surely someone ordered our ship to be taken."
"No, not someone! Gaia ordered it. All of us ordered it."
"The trees and the ground, too, Bliss?"
"They contributed very little, but they contributed. Look, if a musician writes a symphony, do you ask which particular cell in his body ordered the symphony written and supervised its construction?"
